If you like to see Ephesus but away from the bus loads of people, on a small group tour with like minded culinary enthusiasts this day trip is perfect for you. It will be a long day but we assure you that it would be worth the effort. (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes drive each way )You will leave Bodrum early in the morning and drive along the Bafa lake where you will have a short stop for Turkish Tea.

When you arrive in Ephesus, you will visit the site with your professional guide giving information about life in Ephesus and the archaeological finds than he will take you to a culinary oasis which is an Ecological farm that houses the best restaurant in the area as well as an olive and olive oil history museum Oleatrium. After having a lunch fiest, their small train will take you around the farm you will see how they dry their vegetables under the sun, how they make pastes of tomatoes or bell peppers and many different organic jams. The farm tour will end at the museum where you will see how men found out that olives were eatable and how olive oil was used in the beginning and today. At the end of the day you will return to Bodrum with fond memories.
