9:30 am – 3:00 pm

A delicious walk on two shores of Istanbul – Europe and Asia.

Our tour is completely vegetarian friendly, and throughout the 5 hour route you will have your fill of some of the most traditional (and vegetarian!) Istanbul specialties as well as some local İstanbul neighborhood-only flavors.

Our walk begins at Istanbul’s coolest hip neighbourhood Karaköy. Karaköy today is a dynamic neighborhood to say the least. What used to be the main port of the Ottoman Empire and a site for local hardware stores is transforming slowly but surely into a hub of food, culture, and shopping.

The opening of the nearby Istanbul Modern Museum in 2004 sparked a renaissance that has gained momentum in the past couple of years. Now, hardware stores rub shoulders with galleries, restaurants and boutiques, creating a dynamic blend of urban grit and glitter.

After savoring very fresh Baklava ,we will continue to discover the streets of Karaköy stopping for tastings along the way.

We will then take a ferry ride to the other side of the river that separates the European and Asian parts of Istanbul to explore the famous open-air street market of Kadıkoy.

After a leisurely coffee/tea break we will hop on the nostalgic tram to go to Moda an old, quiet, cosmopolitan Istanbul neighbourhood. Moda is known as the most beautiful district on the Anatolian side of İstanbul. Many old and middle-aged Istanbulites have romantic memories to tell you about Moda.

For lunch we will stop at various spots and taste an array of vegetarian dishes.

After lunch we will savor Homemade ice cream from a re known ice cream shop and hop back on the tram to the pier to take our ferry back to the European side.
